Presented bachelor's degree thesis contains an analysis of the comic book adaptation of Too Loud a Solitude by French authors Lionel Tran, Ambre and Valérie Berge. It focuses primarily on influence of specific components of comic books form on Hrabal- s poetic expression, that is accomplished primarily with various size of panels and its unfold, distribution of units and details, but also with the style of drawing and with complete text- and picture element cooperation. It demonstrates, that with an apposite aplication of these elements delicate nuances of Hrabal- s poetic expression can be also varied and that some meanings (originaly textuelly inzerent)are further strenghtened with these elements.
